By envisioning and developing an inclusive, cooperative, community-driven plan, Lower Topanga’s past, present and future can not only be preserved, but can evolve and flourish. Potential elements include a resident artist program, community workshops and gardens, cultural events, performance space, outdoor recreation and education, ecologically sustainable architecture and engineering, and experimentation and implementation of sustainable energies and environmentally friendly solutions to urban challenges.
A collective of local stakeholders is currently working to identify individuals and organizations to provide support and input in redeveloping Lower Topanga. If you are interested in participating in this effort, please provide your contact information to Courage De Leon courage@lteap.org or Richard Corral richard@lteap.org. You will be contacted in the near future to meet and discuss with other interested stakeholders the redevelopment of Lower Topanga.
